Our Commitment to Privacy
Blue Visibility Tech has never sold your information to a third party for advertising purposes, nor do we profit from showing you third-party ads. We have no intention of doing so in the future. This policy explains what information we collect from you, what we do with it, who can access it, and what you can do about it.
Data Controller
Identity and contact details of the controller: Blue Visibility Tech, S.L. NIF B09726571, address Calle Princesa 31, 2º Madrid
Contact details of the data protection officer: Jesús Santín.
Part I – Information that Blue Visibility Tech Collects and Controls
We only collect the information we genuinely need. Some of this information is data that you actively provide us when you register an account, sign up for an event, request customer support, or perform a technical data integration. We store your name and contact information, but we do not store credit card numbers (except with your permission and in one of our secure payment portals).
When you visit one of our websites or use our software, we automatically record basic information like how you got to the site, where you navigate on the site, and what features and settings you use. We use this information to improve our websites and services and to drive the development of new products.
Sometimes we receive information indirectly. For example, if you inquire about our products through one of our referral programs or distribution partners. Also, if you interact with our brand on social media (e.g., liking, commenting, retweeting, mentioning, or following us), we will have access to your interactions and profile information. This information remains indefinitely, even if you later delete it from the social media site, unless you request deletion.
What We Do With Your Information
We use your information to provide the services you requested, create and maintain your accounts, and detect any unauthorized activity on your accounts. We also use it to communicate with you about the products you are currently using, your customer support requests, new products you may like, opportunities for you to provide us with feedback, and policy updates. We analyze the information we collect to understand user needs and to improve our websites and services.
The collection and processing of your information will always have a legal basis for doing so. In most cases, the legal basis will be your consent, and in others, we need the information to provide the service you requested, i.e., the basis is the execution of the relationship between both parties. Commercial shipments to customers may be considered to be carried out based on legitimate interest in maintaining the relationship with our customers and informing them of our products and services and any news that may be of interest.
You can object to the processing of your data for this; you can choose not to provide the information in the first place or request later cancellation of the process. You can also disable cookies to prevent your browser from giving us information; however, if you do, certain website features may not work correctly.
We limit access to your personal information to our employees and contractors who have a legitimate need to use it. If we share your information with third parties (such as developers, service providers, domain registrars, and distribution partners), they must have adequate security measures and a valid reason to use your information, usually to provide you with a service.
The European Economic Area (EEA) establishes certain rights for data subjects (including access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object and complain). Blue Visibility Tech is committed to providing you with the same rights, no matter where you choose to live.
We retain your personal information for the period necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. When we no longer have a legitimate need to process your information, we will delete, anonymize, or isolate your information, as appropriate.
Part II – Information that Blue Visibility Tech Processes on Your Behalf
If you handle data from other people using Blue Visibility Tech applications, such as information about your customers, suppliers, or employees, you entrust us with that data for processing. If you use a Blue Visibility Tech mobile application and grant the app access to your contacts and photo library, you expressly consent to the processing of this data, referred to as service data.
You own/control your service data. We protect it, limit access to it, and only process it according to your instructions. You can access it, share it through third-party integrations, and request that we export or delete it.
We retain data in your account as long as you choose to use Blue Visibility Tech services. After terminating your account, your data will automatically be deleted from our active database within 6 months and from our backups within 3 months after that date.
If you are in the European Economic Area and believe someone has provided us with your information for processing (e.g., your employer or a company whose services you use), you can request certain actions regarding your data. To exercise these data rights, contact the person or company that entrusted us with the data, and we will work with them regarding your request.
Part III – Generalities
There are some limitations to the privacy we can guarantee. Data transfers are planned when necessary to comply with a legal obligation, prevent fraud, enforce an agreement, or protect the safety of our users.
Third-party websites and social media widgets have their own privacy policies. Always consult the corresponding privacy policy before sharing your personal information with third parties.
You can always contact us to ask questions about our privacy practices, request a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Addendum, alert us if you believe we have collected personal data from a minor, or request that your personal information be deleted from our blogs or forums. You can also consult our Privacy Policy.
We will contact you to inform you if we make any significant changes to our privacy policy or in the unlikely event that we decide to sell our business.
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy, owned by Blue Visibility Tech S.L. (hereinafter, “Blue Visibility Tech,” “us,” or “our”), effective since February 25, 2022, applies to all our services.
Blue Visibility Tech’s Privacy Commitment
At Blue Visibility Tech, we only ask for the minimum amount of information necessary, collecting only what we believe is essential for doing business or for the specific transaction at hand. We inform customers what information we have about them and allow them to opt out of specific engagements. Our greatest commitment is not to use our website to earn advertising revenue, neither now nor ever, not even in the free editions of our products. This means we avoid the basic conflict of interest between collecting customer information and increasing advertising revenue, along with the inevitable compromises in customer privacy that this entails.
The purpose of this policy is to make explicit the information we collect about our customers and users, how we will use it, and how we will not. Unfortunately, this policy is longer than we would like, but we must unequivocally address all relevant cases. We will try to keep the language as simple and straightforward as possible.
Scope of This Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to all Blue Visibility Tech websites linked to it. This also applies to products and services provided by Blue Visibility Tech through these websites, mobile applications, and applications published by Blue Visibility Tech in the Blue Visibility Tech solutions catalog and other third-party online solutions catalogs. This privacy policy does not apply to our websites, products, or services that have a separate privacy policy.
This privacy policy is divided into three parts:
- Part I – Information that Blue Visibility Tech Collects and Controls
- Part II – Information that Blue Visibility Tech Processes on Your Behalf
- Part III – Generalities
Part I – Information that Blue Visibility Tech Collects and Controls
